We know how frustrating it is to hire a cleaner who doesn't show up, rushes the job, or disappears after one visit. Tony Wright started this business in 1998 because he believed window cleaning could be done better. 28 years later, we're still proving that point.
Tony Wright and the Team
Tony founded The Window Cleaning Company in 1998 in Northampton. What started as a one-person operation has grown into a team that covers the whole of Northamptonshire. We clean for hundreds of domestic customers, retail businesses, offices, schools, and care homes.
We're still based in Northampton at 67 Osmund Drive, Goldings. Tony still runs the business and still gets out on jobs. When you call, you're talking to the people who'll be cleaning your windows.
The Thermo Pure System
We use a system called Thermo Pure Reach and Wash. It heats purified water to 80 degrees and feeds it through interlinking poles that extend up to 65ft. The hot, deionised water lifts dirt far more effectively than cold tap water, and because all the minerals have been stripped out, it dries to a completely clear finish.
This system means we don't need ladders for most jobs. That's safer for our team, safer for your property, and gives a better result than traditional squeegee methods. It's also quiet and chemical-free, which matters for schools, care homes, and residential streets.
Our Safety Record
We take health and safety seriously because our work involves height, water, and other people's property. Every commercial quote comes with a risk assessment and method statement. Our team is trained in the use of cradles, cherry pickers, and rising platforms. We don't use ladders or step ladders unless a specific risk assessment confirms it can be done safely.
